Song on my mind last night

Funny how sometimes a song comes into your mind and you cannot get it off your mind. Last night when I was going to bed, this song was on my mind. The words to the song kept going through my head. I could not remember all the words of course but I kept hearing, "Your Kiss, Your Kiss is on my list" 
I have the philosophy that Everything happens for a reason. 
So, I wrote it down on a piece of paper to remind myself to check the lyrics and listen to the song when I turned on the computer this morning.

This song is not one that I would have added to my favorites list, or a song that I would play over and over. So why was it on my mind last night?

 Reasons I can think of:
1. Before I went to bed last night, I was hoping that my hubby and I could cuddle and that he would sleep in the bed with me. But due to him being so tired and fear of snoring to loudly, he said he wanted to sleep on the couch. We Really have to find something that helps with snoring! ;) :) Any suggestions????
2. We have been arguing lately over little stupid things, which has been weighing on my mind. I am a "Make Love -Not War" type of person. (Grew up in the 70's). 
3. We have been studying spirituality and it is appearing that Karma (life lessons) is hitting us quickly and we are just not getting it right. So, we have been reliving the same crap over and over and over again.  We both are having troubles getting rid of "The EGO' which is causing the same things to appear in our lives. It does not surprise me, as we are both "Fire Signs", Leo and Aries. It is hard not to believe what we have been listen to on so many videos of what is going on in people's lives, when it is happening to us. A few years ago, I would tell someone they were crazy if they told me this would happen, but that is for a different blog post.

So, like I said, "Everything happens for a Reason", even the lyrics to a song. it is like the universe saying: Listen to this and think about it.

Spirit Guides Help

Thought I would share a story today, which I am naming  Spirit Guides Help.
My husband in the past had a habit of  moving things around the house and putting them somewhere without letting me know where he had moved them. So, when I go to get an object and it is not where it should have been, I would have to ask my husband where this particuar object was moved to. It was frustrating to say the least over the years LOL. So one day, I thought, I am going to get him to understand once and for all, how it feels to Not know where an object that is needed is. So, I went around the house and found objects that I knew he would Need and would look for. I  hid 4 objects and put them in places where he would have to Really look hard to find them (So I had thought).
He was going to be going to town shortly and I knew he would need, Keys, belt, wallet, and his hairbrush.  I hid them throughout the house. ( I know, my Ego got the best of me ;) but I felt,  he had to feel what I feel to hopefully stop ;)   ). 
So, he is getting ready to go to town and cannot find his hair brush and comes to ask me if I know where it was.  I  told him I hid them on him and explained why. I then told him to take a deep breath and ask his Spirit Guide, Evelyn and see if she could help him. (How he knows his spirit guides name is for a different blog post).  Within 3 to 5 minutes, he came to me and said, he found everything. To My Total amazement! he then starts to tell me, I found my hair  brush on top of the fridge way in the back, I found the keys inside of a candle in the kitchen, I found his wallet in the office in the little cabinet on the 2nd shelf down under a bunch of papers in the back. Wow! I said, how the heck did you do that? ( My Ego again thinking,  hey that just is not fair, it defeats the whole idea of what I had intended).  He said, Thanks for the idea, Evelyn helped me out.  I  said, well you haven't found your belt yet. He said, he thought he did really well, with what he found and he will ask Evelyn later for his belt, that he didn't need it right now to go to town. LOL.
Shortly after this incident, he was looking all over the house for his needle nose pliers. he explains he has looked all over and cannot find them anywhere. I start mentioning places, i thought it may be and each place, he would say, already looked there.. yep looked there too. ... So, I said, Why don't you ask Evelyn if she knows where you put them, she helped you out before, maybe she will help you out again? To My Total amazement within minutes he  says, Found them! I said what? No Way! He comes in the office with a big smile on his face and says, he is  just as shocked as I am. he  asked Evelyn, like he did in the past. Stood there until he got an answer, which was in the livingroom, in his tool box (We were remodeling at the time so the house was a mess with tools all over lol). he said to her, they can't be there, I looked completely through the tool box and they weren't there. He then heard, "Look again." So, he did. To his amazement, when he went into the livingroom and went towards the toolbox, here is the needle nose pliers with the orange handle sticking up in plain sight. He said, he could not beleive his eyes.  He walked around saying, Thank you Evelyn, I  appreciate your help. ;) :)
She has helped him find countless items many times since then. it is totally amazing to me how he does this. I find it totally intriguing.  
So, moral of this story. Our spirit guides are delighted to help us when we ask for their help. All it takes is belief  and to quiet the mind to hear the answer from her/ him.  
If I would have taken my own advice, that I gave him, my spirit guide would have heped me find the things that he moved on me. LOL. it is always easier to come up with great ideas to help others, but when it comes to me, I didn't take my own advice.   Now, that I have experienced this and beleive that it is true, I know that I can now ask for help when needed. The whole key is belief. If you don't beleive that your spirit guide will help you, then you don't hear them when they  help.
Lesson Learned.

7 weeks on Diet Update ;) Eating No Meat

Well in a previous post, I stated that I was going to start Not Eating Any Meat
for 6 months and see how it goes. 
Well it has been 7 weeks now and I feel GREAT ;) and I have lost 28 pounds.
My Husband has lost 18. 
I can say that I really do not miss eating meat that much.. 
My husband has missed it quite a bit, but he is doing very well;) I am proud of him. I actually was surprised he was doing it with me, but grateful, as it helps when you have someone else to diet with you.
It actually really was not to diet par say, it was to cleanse my body and become more spiritual.  Once I started to feel better and see the weight come off, of course I  was thankful and would like to see 30 more pounds come off. ;) 
We have been eating fruit and a lot of  vegetables., Salads, coleslaw and soups.
Trying to drink more water and less snacks. 
I want to weigh myself every Sunday to see how I progress. 
Any good recipes you can share with me?
Any good food suggestions?

What a Beautiful Day Today! Had a Message from Above

When I awoke this morning, I had a wonderful surprise!

This may sound very strange to most people who read this, but .....

Here I go.

The surprise was my Mother's Touch Tone Lamp Came on Today.

Why would I be so excited over this?

Let me explain.

My Mother was diagnosed with a type of cancer in the blood, January 2010.

So, in June of 2010 we moved into one of my  rental houses that was only 15 blocks from my Mother's, so we could be close to her and help her. I was so glad that we had moved close to her as we had a beautiful year that I will treasure always.

My Mother passed away June 2nd, 2011, her funeral was June 6th.

Prior to her passing, I had gone to town and purchased a touch tone lamp.

I had placed her hands on the lamp for about 10 minutes or so.

For several days, I would tell Mother, once she passed, to turn the touch tone lamp on to let us know she is okay and to visit once and awhile, and when she did, to turn her touch tone lamp on to let me know she was there.

Within a few  hours of her passing, the touch tone lamp came on! An hour later, My Brother's touch tone lamp that he brought over to Mother's house, that was in the living room, also came on. We All saw both lights come on which helped us with our grief. 

One day soon, I will post more about the significance of this and how we (our family) started using the touch tone lamp and viewing it as a message from  our family members who have passed away. As this is not the first time that this has happened!

The touch tone lamp turned on for my birthday last year and on December 25th. I was hoping that it would come on for Mother's Day but it didn't .. so  again , since it was a year of her passing away on June 2nd, I have been hoping the light would come on for her to show me she was watching us and knew we were missing her.

So, when I woke up, and went into the living room where I keep her touch tone lamp and other personal items of hers, the light was on. It sure made me feel good and full of love.

Personal Update

Thought I would post a personal update.
I have been checking out different videos that had recipe that did not have meat.
I guess you would call it vegetarian meals.
One Post was on April 29th. so shortly after my post, I suppose the first week in May, we started our new way of eating. We weighed ourselves then and now today. I weighed: 18 pounds lighter and Hubby was 11 pounds lighter ;) :)
The purpose was to loose weight, eat healthier, feel better and to start living from within ourselves. 
We also have started taking multi vitamins. 
We have both been feeling a lot better.
We have been getting a lot more exercise, which I am hoping continues all year round, as it seems during the winter, we do a lot more sitting around and when spring comes, we find muscles we have not used for Way TOO Long LOL, if you know what I mean. ;)
I have been trying to drink a lot more water, which is ran through our Culligan Osmosis system. I love it!


We have been remodeling our bathroom and starting on the kitchen today ;) I am very excited about this! ;)
I will post pictures when we get done with our project.


As You can tell by my posts, we have been watching a lot of Wayne Dyer, Louise Hay, Eckhart Tolle,  doing meditations, affirmations and working on our energy. It has been very enlightening. 


I hope you have been enjoying my posts.
If you have any vegetarian recipe to share with me, I would love to hear from you. We are going to do this for a minimum of 6 months.
